El ejército turco calificó hoy al presidente turco, el islamista Recep Tayyip Erdogan, como un "traidor", le acusó de haber establecido un "régimen autoritario del miedo", al tiempo que declaró un toque de queda para todo el país y la ley marcial.
La toma por parte del Ejército duró varias horas, 17 policías murieron durante el golpe por una explosión en el edificio de Operaciones Especiales de la Policía en Ankara.
El servicio de inteligencia turco dio por fracasado el Golpe de Estado.
