Gustavo Cerati, alma máter de Soda Stereo, fue sin dudas un referente del rock iberoamericano. Su muerte el jueves a los 55 años significó un duro golpe para los artistas de la región, que manifestaron su dolor en las redes sociales.

"Por toda la música y por tanto... #graciastotales buen viaje Gustavo!", escribió la banda mexicana Molotov en su cuenta oficial de Twitter.

La venezolana La Vida Boheme, en tanto, deseó "paz a tus restos, gigante. Gracias por todo, Gus".

Muy sentido fue el mensaje del cantante Ricardo Montaner, quien admitió que "hoy se nos detuvo el corazón a todos los músicos".

Cerati murió de un paro respiratorio tras permanecer en coma cuatro años luego de sufrir un accidente cerebrovascular.

Según los médicos que lo atendían, el exlíder de Soda Stereo falleció en la mañana "sin sufrimiento".
